"Unfortunately not, but it won’t stop surprising you though. Either that’s a good thing or not. It is even if it comes with it’s quirks though it’s very beautiful when it’s summer.”

"Well either way at least things will never be dull." She chuckled. "Those quirks are what make it though I think, like with any city"

"I didn’t know anyone." he said. "So was pretty weird when I found out that I could control chaos and project it like…well a projectile." he smiled. "And its no problem." he smiled. "So, what can I help you with?" he asked as he looked over and started to look over the questions and pages. "And of course they have the best, they all believed in numerous gods, deities, stories, things that had a higher power, and all of those had stories."

image

"You can control chaos?" She asked, looking a little stunned "How does that work?" She asked curiously. "I’m currently meant to be studying the journey the early settlers made to what is now California." She explained, lying the book flatter in her lap so  he could see it better. She nodded in agreement to what he said about them "My brother like to say that us mutants are like demi gods, he even calls this school camp half blood after those Percy Jackson books."

I can feel it all around me, everyday, like the rush of a river.                 Strong. Powerful. Deadly.

And I can bend it to my will….

angelique-forbes:

"Good choice coming from someone who has seen her fair share of it." She said laughing along. "Oui, a Parisian to be more exact."

”I’m guessing it won’t be too long before I can say the same thing” She gave a bright smile “You are so lucky! Paris is such a beautiful city”

I need a new book to read.

"What kind of books are you into?"

"Yeah, we get to be in charge, well we get to be the majority, not outsiders. Its nice." he smiled. "And I’d be happy to help." he smiled. "I mean, you’ve already studied the rest of the world, why not america." he smiled. "And In all honesty, Ancient History is the best of those, Greece and Egypt to be precise. I like mythology." he said. "But fear not, I’m still good at American History." he nodded reassuringly.

image

"Yeah, it is. Before I came here I only knew one person like us." She admitted. A smile spread across her own lips "Thank you so much!" She gave a light chuckle and a nod "Why not indeed. I definitely agree with you there, but it’s Greece and Rome for me. It seems the ancient cultures had the best stories and mythology." She nodded again once and smiled "I’m glad to hear it."

angelique-forbes:

"With a bunch of super powered teenagers, things can get a bit out of hand. I can relate that it’s a huge change except I’ve never gone to a all girls boarding school neither lived in a quiet place except for Woodbay as of now. "

image

"I can imagine..actually, I don’t think I want to" She laughed, thinking of just how out of hand things could get with people of their kind. "I’m guessing from the accent, France?"

First Meeting || Nymeria & Jesse

chaoticfireofjesse:

"In this place…" he smiled. "Yeah, its weird not to feel different, In the outside world, we feel like aliens and here…we feel like, more fit in alients?" he asked, making a stupid face as he tried to figure out the logic behind it, but just ended up laughing a little. "I had a point to that, I swear. And American History…uh…I think I can help, if you want."

image

"No, no, I get it" She laughed lightly, shaking her head slightly  "We will maybe always feel like aliens out there but here at least we’re in the majority for once" She looked to him "Really? Because you would be a life saver if you did. I literally know nothing about American history, all I’ve ever studied before is British, French and Ancient history."

angelique-forbes:

"I agree, it does has its moments of weirdness. If you don’t mind me asking, what are you used to?”

image

"And quite a few I’d imagine, given the student population. I’m used to an all girls boarding school in the quiet English countryside."
